2010 Goals

Posted by themoneylearner on January 15, 2010

2010 is upon us and I am finally ready to commit to some goals for the new year!

Financial Goals
1. Open an online savings account for an emergeny fund. Fund it with $2,000.
2. Have our wedding and honeymoon paid for by the end of the year. We are getting married this August and as of now our budget is just shy of $16,000
for both the destination wedding and the reception that will take place back in the States.

Passive Income Goals
1. Write 30 eHow articles per month. (Starting in February…if eHow ever fixes their publishing tool)
2. Have a minimum of 70 blog posts by the end of the calendar year. Began the year with just 12 posts so I need to knock out just over one post per
week.
3. Have someone professionally redesign my blog by the end of April 2010.
4. Write an eBook on how to start an online golf business on eBay.

Personal Goal
1. Actively go to the gym 3 days per week from now until the end of July 2010 OR complete P90X by the end of July 2010. Have to get in shape for our
weddingmoon in St. Lucia!

Well, I completed both financial goals in 2010! We have an online emergency fund and it is funded with well more than $2,000. The destination wedding was amazing and it is completely paid for!

I failed to complete any of my passive income goals do to no effort.

I failed my personal goal but did complete the first 60 days of P90X before our vacation started.
